Web development

A professional website doesn't need to cost a fortune.

Responsive website design shown on a laptop and phone

Your website should make your business look credible, load quickly and work perfectly on a phone. Everything beyond that is a choice — and we'll help you make it sensibly.

What we build

Most of our work falls into one of these. If yours doesn't, ask anyway.

Small business websites

A few clear pages that explain what you do and make it easy to get in touch.

Business landing pages

One focused page for a campaign, a launch or a single service.

Website redesigns

Keep what works, fix what doesn't, and bring an older site up to date.

Portfolio websites

Image-led sites for photographers, makers, trades and creatives.

Promotional websites

Short-run sites for an event, an offer or a seasonal push.

Existing site improvements

Speed, mobile layout, forms, contact details and search basics.

Website maintenance

Ongoing updates and changes as prices, staff and offers change.

Troubleshooting & advice

Something broken, or a decision you'd like a second opinion on.

Keeping costs down

Low to build. Low to keep running.

The build is a one-off cost. The running costs are forever, so that is where we pay the most attention. We use modern development tools — including AI-assisted development where it genuinely saves time — so you are not paying for hours that software can handle.

Where a site suits it, we can deploy in a way that costs almost nothing to host. Where it doesn't — because you need a database, bookings, logins or payments — we'll say so and recommend the cheapest sensible option instead.

  • We recommend hosting that fits the site, not the largest package available
  • Many small business sites can run with little or no ongoing hosting cost
  • You own your domain and your accounts — not us
  • No monthly platform fee for features you never use
  • We tell you the running costs before we build anything
